The buck stops with me! I’m the owner / operator of Kiwibikes, working in the cycle trade since 1981. I was trained in frame building at McLean Manufacturing in Wanganui in 1982 and thought “this will do for a while” – 3o years on am I still wondering what I want to do? NOT REALLY!
I am very passionate about the cycle trade. I also love the people that come my way because of cycling. I am still building bike frames every day. Every frame I build feels like a piece of art when finished, and often I feel sad when the customer takes it away.
Steven Pattle
With five years in the cycle trade, Steven has now been with Kiwibikes for three years. Racing a session Trek DH bike (talk to us about these bikes!). Steven’s brother Craig Pattle is well known in NZ for downhill and BMX and working at Zippys. Good coffee Craig!!
