Cute compact cottage set on a private rural setting on a lifestyle block, yet only 7 mins drive from Rotorua city (5 km). Furnished with one luxury queen bed but also a cosy sleepout accessible off the deck containing a single over double bunkbed. Fully self-contained kitchen, complete with expresso/ cappuccino machine, gas BBQ, and outdoor furniture on the covered deck, including lovely hammock in which to relax while soaking up the last of the days sunshine…
We are immediately opposite the famous Whakarewarewa Forest and its mountain biking trails. So cyclists come and try us …just ride across the road, up “Hill Road” then “Frontal Labotomy” and you are at the highest point where the Shuttle drops off riders, and the best single tracks (e.g., Corners) of the entire forest are below you !
Cottage is also just a 2 km drive from the beautiful Blue, Green and Okareka Lakes.
Flying in to Rotorua airport and need wheels ? We have a tidy manual 7-seater van we will rent to fully licensed drivers. It can carry 7 bikes too! Please enquire for details.
Well-behaved pets are welcome for an extra charge but must sleep outside (please double check with the owner), this includes safe paddocking for horses.
Lock-up storage shed and wash-down facilities are provided on-site for your mountain bikes.
